On Saturday, June 29th, Drink-A-Palooza will be sponsoring the US Air Guitar San Diego Qualifier at The Casbah in downtown San Diego, presented by 91X. The Drink-A-Palooza Board Game Company will be giving away their drinking game to the two lucky winners who have what it takes to shred some serious air.

The competition, which allows local air guitarists to perform 60-second clips for a live, heavy metal audience, will determine who has what it takes to bring the passionate art of air guitar out of their mom’s basement and onto the big stage. Dudes and ladies alike will compete for the opportunity to climb their way to regional, national, and eventually world air guitar domination.

Hosted by two-time San Diego champion, Lt. Facemelter, the competition will feature two rounds of rock n’ roll fury, outfitted by outlandish costumes, larger than life personas, and a whole lotta beer. The top two air guitarists of the evening will move onto San Francisco to represent Ron Burgandy and the rest of San Diego in the US Air Guitar Western Semifinals.
