In partnership with the Drink-A-Palooza drinking board game, the 2013 San Diego International Beer Festival takes place June 21-23, in the Del Mar Arena, with many breweries and hundreds of beers (407 this year, the largest selection to-date) from around the world! This year, participants will arrive from  across the country and from many nations to sample some of the best beers anywhere.

‘Game on!’ is the theme for the 2013 San Diego County Fair and is the slogan for the newest drinking game out Drink-A-Palooza. The Fair will spotlight classic and nostalgic games and show how these have evolved over the years; from board games and pinball, to television, videos and computers, technology has enhanced the gaming culture beyond our dreams.

New this year for the competition, was the crowning of a Champion Brewery in addition to the traditional Best of Show Beer.  The Champion Brewery was awarded based on points earned for beers entered in the judging. Check out all the breweries participating in this year’s Festival here!

$55 GENERAL ADMISSION ticket gets you admission into the San Diego County Fair, souvenir tasting cup, and unlimited one-ounce samples of more than 300 beers.

$90 BREWERS LOUNGE VIP experience ideal for the true craft beer enthusiast. Includes a special lounge area overlooking the  festival, 6-oz. souvenir glass to use in the lounge area and  festival floor, five craft beer stations with food pairing with unlimited grazing for the first two hours of each session, 1/2 hour early admission before the general public, and admission to the Fair.

To attend you must have a Fair admission ticket. For those that already have Fair admission tickets you can purchase the Beer Festival and VIP Brewers Lounge inside the Festival on the day of the show or in advance at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Box Office.

Ticket prices without Fair admission for each  session:     San Diego International Beer Festival $41 per session; Brewers Lounge $80 per session.

All attendees must show valid photo ID at the door to be admitted. You must be 21 or older to participate in this event. No exceptions! Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (drivers license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered.
